NGF
The high technology in KM Assay Center now allows an accurate measurement of serum NGF.
NGF is made up of 118 amino acid residues.
It is thought that NGF is a peptide promoting growth of neuron of sympathetic nerve and sensory nerve.
NGF can promote growth and differentiation of B lymphocyte in peripheral nerve.
It has been reported that NGF is related to itch in atopic dermatitis and depression.
Caution: This test is not eligible to receive points under the National Health Insurance (NHI) point's scheme.
Results from this analysis cannot be used in medical diagnosis. Please use the results as intended for research use.
The steps to be followed in requesting the nitrotyrosin analysis service:
1. Placing a request for the analysis.
We ask our customers to contact our Center via telephone or e-mail to request NGF analysis.
2. Blood drawing.
Separate the serum after drawing the blood. Store the sample in a way that ensures it stays frozen.
3. Shipping of the sample.
Please send the sample to our Center using a frozen shipment service along with the analysis form and the analysis sample specification form.
4. Turnaround of the results.
Although the turnaround time will depend on the sample volume, we will usually mail out the results in approximately two weeks.
5. Billing of the analysis fee.
After the analysis is complete, we will mail you bill.
