Lipid-related Metabolite Profiling
Our analytical scientists, experienced in the use of advanced techniques for diagnostic reagent development, will carry out lipid-related metabolite profiling by measuring five specific lipid-related metabolites (TG, TC, HDL-C, LDL-C, RemL-C) and carrying out polyacrylamide gel and agarose gel electrophoresis using Kyowa Medex Co., Ltd’s respected and highly trusted analysis kits. For samples with unique characteristics, a lipid analytical specialist will include comments based on their many years of experience.
Special Promotion Now On!
To celebrate the opening of our new service, lipid-related metabolite profiling analysis is on offer at a special discounted rate.
30% off for 5-9 samples, 50% off for 10 or more samples.
This is a great offer not to be missed!

| TG (Triglyceride) |
Works as a source of energy in the body and maintains organs and tissue. Useful for the diagnosis of conditions such as abnormal lipid metabolism. Detection limit of 5 mg/dL. |
| TC (Total Cholesterol ) |
Inevitable for vital activity by playing an important role in cell membrane formation, steroid hormone synthesis, vitamin synthesis and the synthesis of bile acid as digestive secretion. Important test for diagnosis of hyperlipidemia and liver function. Detection limit of 5 mg/dL. |
| HDL-C (High Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol ) |
High-density lipoprotein cholesterol. An important indicator for arteriosclerosis. Detection limit of 1 mg/dL. |
| LDL-C (Low Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol ) |
Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol.A major risk factor in coronary arterial diseases. Detection limit of 1 mg/dL. |
| RemL-C (Remnant Like Lipoprotein Cholesterol ) |
An intermediate metabolite of chylomicrons and VLDL.The cholesterol is a risk factor in arteriosclerosis, a condition that indicates the presence of abnormal lipid metabolism. Detection limit of 1 mg/dL. |
| Polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis |
Analysis of fraction ratio of LDL, HDL and VLDL by electrophoresis of particle diameter of the lipid protein. |
Agarose gel electrophoresi |
Analysis on fraction ratio of HDL-TC, VLDL-TC, LDL-TC, chylomicron-TC, HDL-TG, VLDL-TG, LDL-TG and chylomicron-TG by electrophoresis of electrical charges of the lipid protein. Can detect MIDBAND, a risk factor in arteriosclerosis, in addition to the classification of the type of hyperlipidemia. |

Results from these analyses cannot be used for medical diagnosis. Please use these analyses as intended for research use.
Below the order of events is shown for contracting an analysis.
The party requiring contract analysis services contacts the KM Assay Center by phone or electronic mail.
↓
The party fills in the appropriate fields of the analysis request form and analysis description form, and returns them with the samples for analysis (blood serum 2 mL or more) by refrigerated post to the KM Assay Center.
The samples must not be frozen.
↓
Results of the analysis will be sent through the post after approximately 10 working days, though this time may depend on the number of samples received.
If the tests are required urgently, please indicate so by filling in the relevant field of the assay request form and an advance report will be sent by fax or electronic mail.
↓
An invoice requesting payment will be sent through the post.
